Since 2004, the partnership for the Rapid Economic Accounts for Overseas Territories (Comptes économiques rapides pour l’Outre-mer, CEROM) has brought together the Issuing Institutes (IEDOM-IEOM), the French Development Agency (AFD), and the statistical institutes operating in the overseas departments and territories: the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee), the Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies - New Caledonia (ISÉE), the Institute of Statistics of French Polynesia.
It aims to produce rapid accounts, to model economic trends and to publish macroeconomic or thematic analyses about the overseas departments and collectivities.
The rapid economic accounts are based on a macroeconomic model using the first available data from the previous year. These are not final accounts. The estimates may be revised once all the data for the year are available.
CEROM Dashboards are quarterly publications that give an overview of trends in a range of macroeconomic and sector-specific indicators, presented in the form of tables and charts.
